IT Field Engineer

The successful candidate will come from a similar IT field based or ICT engineer environment ideally from a managed services or IT consultancy business.

You will have strong technical understanding of dealing with infrastructure, network and cloud technologies and also comfortable working in a client facing within a school environment.

You will also be a highly motivated and driven individual with system networks and security knowledge. You will be 'hands-on' building, upgrading, and migrating Windows Server environments including migrations to Google for Education, LGFL, and other education-based technologies.

Due to nature of this role, you will be required to visit client sites on a weekly basis within London and South East locations.

**A car and license is a must for this role!

Skills and responsibilities:

·At least 3 years MSP or projects based experience covering the education sector (ideally)

·Excellent communication skills and clear reporting to end users

·Microsoft Windows Server 2012 to 2025 management

·Solid understanding of IP networking, VLANs, and wireless deployments

·Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 support

·AD configs and admin including DNS / DHCP

·O365 and SharePoint administration

·Virtualisation Technology Experience including Hyper-V and/or VMware

·2nd Factor Authentication solutions including Microsoft MFA

·Backup technologies and troubleshooting
