Job description
We are looking for a senior SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver complex SAP initiatives in an international environment.
The role requires an experienced professional capable of managing SAP projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery in line with scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations. The candidate will act as a true project owner, driving execution, governance, and decision-making across cross-functional teams.
The position requires a strong balance between business understanding and IT delivery, with the ability to translate conceptual SAP processes into structured, actionable project plans.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, autonomy, and accountability, and is comfortable operating in complex stakeholder environments while maintaining a strong delivery focus.
Your mission: Lead SAP projects end-to-end, from initiation to delivery Ensure delivery according to scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards Define and maintain project governance, planning, milestones, and delivery roadmap Act as project owner, driving execution, decision-making, and accountability Manage project financials including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting Ensure alignment between business and IT stakeholders Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management Provide clear, structured, and decision-oriented reporting to management and sponsors Ensure effective communication across executive, business, and technical audiences Foster collaboration, engagement, and accountability within project teams
Activities: Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to delivery commitments Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues proactively Manage dependencies across multiple streams and stakeholders Track project costs and ensure financial transparency Prepare and deliver regular status reports and executive summaries Facilitate workshops and steering committees Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, IT, and external partners Translate business requirements into structured delivery actions Challenge and align functional and technical discussions Ensure proper governance and decision-making processes are in place Support prioritization and arbitration in complex environments Drive continuous alignment between all stakeholders
You have the following skills: Functional & SAP Knowledge Strong understanding of SAP landscapes and processes
Knowledge of key SAP domains: Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) Business Intelligence / BW Human Capital Management (HCM) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (O2C) Intercompany processes Interfaces and system integrations
Requirements
Security and authorizations Ability to understand SAP processes conceptually and translate them into delivery plans Not required to have deep technical expertise, but able to challenge and steer discussions Project Management & Delivery 8-10+ years of experience in IT and SAP project management Proven track record delivering complex SAP projects Strong governance, planning, and execution capabilities Solid experience in international environments Strong risk management and problem-solving skills Budget management and financial tracking capabilities Leadership & Soft Skills Strong leadership with ability to federate cross-functional teams High level of autonomy and accountability Strong decision-making and prioritization skills Delivery-oriented mindset with strong ownership Ability to perform under pressure in complex environments Excellent communication, structuring, and synthesis skills Strong stakeholder management (business & IT) Ability to adapt communication to executive, business, and technical audiences Languages Fluent English (mandatory) Additional languages are considered an asset Votre profil You have at least 10 years of professional experiences in IT If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it's best You're eager to learn, motivated and curious
