Job description

As Presales Manager - Government Identity Solutions for Africa, the Middle East, and APAC, you will lead strategic client engagements, shape high-value technical solutions, and drive the early phases of complex government identity programs across diverse international markets., * Support Sales in client engagements by preparing tailored presentations and participating in customer meetings

  • Analyze client business challenges, objectives, and constraints to shape value-driven technical solutions
  • Gather and structure customer requirements upstream of RFI/RFP publication; anticipate roadmap adjustments when necessary
  • Develop preliminary budgetary and planning estimates ahead of formal tender processes
  • Lead benchmarks, proof of concepts (PoC), and product demonstrations
  • Prepare responses to Expressions of Interest (EOI), Requests for Information (RFI), and pre-tender documentation

Bid Phase

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional bid response teams
  • Interface with Sales, Product, Marketing, Programs, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and external partners
  • Design cost-optimized, technically sound solutions aligned with customer requirements
  • Challenge and validate architectural choices; assess cost, risk, and performance impacts
  • Ensure full requirement traceability and risk coverage throughout the pre-sales phase
  • Guarantee consistency across customer needs, technical solutions, pricing, and contractual proposals
  • Draft and consolidate proposal content
  • Review and harmonize contributions from all stakeholders
  • Prepare executive summaries and present solutions to technical evaluation committees

Requirements

  • Proven experience with technology vendors and systems integrators
  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure architecture, design, and deployment
  • Full lifecycle bid management experience (RFI/RFP to contract award)
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to navigate conflict and drive consensus in complex environments
  • Experience managing multicultural and remote teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
