Job description

A dual-focused role overseeing payroll operations and HR systems within a managed payroll environment.

You'll ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery while driving system improvements, reporting, and data-led decision making across the People function., * Manage end-to-end payroll processing and liaise with external payroll providers

  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and internal policies
  • Oversee payroll system configuration, upgrades, testing, and integrations
  • Administer pensions and auto-enrolment processes
  • Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Provide payroll guidance to staff and managers
  • Manage HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective reporting
  • Support system improvements and deliver insights through data analysis

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing payroll and HR systems
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory payments
  • Experience with payroll systems configuration and upgrades
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage confidential data and work collaboratively across teams
