Job description
A dual-focused role overseeing payroll operations and HR systems within a managed payroll environment.
You'll ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery while driving system improvements, reporting, and data-led decision making across the People function., * Manage end-to-end payroll processing and liaise with external payroll providers
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and internal policies
- Oversee payroll system configuration, upgrades, testing, and integrations
- Administer pensions and auto-enrolment processes
- Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
- Provide payroll guidance to staff and managers
- Manage HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective reporting
- Support system improvements and deliver insights through data analysis
Requirements
- Proven experience managing payroll and HR systems
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory payments
- Experience with payroll systems configuration and upgrades
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage confidential data and work collaboratively across teams
