As a Senior Data Analyst acting as an Initiative Owner, you won't just analyze data-you will lead the vision. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that data solutions deliver real strategic value. Your Responsibilities: End-to-End Analysis: Lead the full lifecycle of business analysis, including business case development, requirements co-creation, and continuous solution optimization. Data Mapping & Quality: Analyze existing data flows and user roles to define target solutions and proactively identify data quality issues. Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, and technical squads. Testing & Validation: Translate business needs into rigorous test conditions for performance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Design & Change Management: Support data architecture design, review prototypes, and facilitate smooth delivery through the creation of impactful reports and dashboards. ️ Your Profile, Strategic Impact: Lead critical data initiatives within a prestigious European financial institution. Requirements
Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in Data Analysis or Business Analysis, with proven project management skills. Data Expertise: Strong understanding of Big Data, Business Intelligence (BI), and conceptual modeling techniques. Agile Mindset: Proficient in Agile methodologies (backlog management, sprint planning, and the MVP mindset). Tools: High proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of IT testing and requirement management tools. Bonus: A background in banking or insurance activities and workflow processes is a significant plus. Soft Skills: The "Self-Starter": You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and driven by change. Synthesizer: You have strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate with and persuade diverse stakeholders. Organized: Goal-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a structured manner. Language Requirements: Trilingualism is Essential: Strong communication skills in English, French, and Dutch (written and spoken) to navigate the Brussels-based international context.
