Software test engineer

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Rotterdam.

As Software Test Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Designing, developing and implementing test plans and test cases for software applications;
• Performing various types of tests, including functional, regression, acceptance and performance tests;
• Identifying and recording software errors and assisting in resolving them;
• Collaborate with development teams to implement test automation and improve continuous integration processes;
• Reporting test results to stakeholders and providing insights to improve the quality of the software.

• Completed bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field
• Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in software testing
• Knowledge of test methods, tools and techniques, including test automation
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies
• A proactive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and with the customer
