It is good to know that this position is an individual contributor role, and you'll report to the Team Lead Performance Marketing. However, within the Marketing department, we distinguish 4 sub-teams:
- Performance Marketing
- Product Marketing

Your job
As the Sr Website Manager, you will be responsible for transforming our website into a high-performing, user-centric platform that drives conversions and delivers a seamless user experience.
You'll use your extensive web design experience and strategic thinking to align user insights with business objectives and develop a comprehensive roadmap for website development and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
You know how to operate in an agile environment, how to prioritize initiatives based on impact, and how to use your leadership skills to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
In short, you'll manage our most important acquisition channel, making sure users find what they are looking for, ensuring organic growth and high conversion rates. Your challenges
- Website Strategy and Performance:
- Understand business ICP and users' jobs to be done to develop and implement a comprehensive web strategy that supports business objectives and marketing goals;
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement;
- Optimizing our SEO strategy, and findability of our pages/technology of the website for SEO;
- Ensure the website is technically best in class, scalable, and optimized for performance by driving continuous optimization efforts to enhance user experience and conversion rates;
- Manage the CMS responsible for improvements in the content modules and structure;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and impact of AI to enhance the website's effectiveness continually.
- User Experience:
- Understand, conceptualize, and translate user needs and interactions, into actual visual experiences;
- Ensure the website aligns with brand guidelines and delivers a consistent brand experience;
- Oversee the design and implementation of best-in-class UX/UI practices;
- Create engaging and intuitive web experiences for new and returning visitors.
- Project Management:
- Act as the gatekeeper for website projects, strategically prioritizing initiatives based on business impact.
- Lead the implementation of sprints, ensuring timely and effective delivery of web projects.
- Work cross-functionally with UX Designer, Front-ender, Performance Marketers, SEO Managers, and Content specialists to deliver the vision of our website.
Requirements
- Proficient in creating and executing web strategies that incorporate best practices for menus, components, sessions, and features.
- Skilled in designing user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Capable of discussing technical alternatives with the front-end team and making small adjustments independently (knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript);
- Knowledgeable in evaluating new solutions, integrations, and platforms;
- Product/Project Management:
- Deep understanding of user's needs and journey, connecting it to solutions to support the business strategy;
- Strong leadership in prioritizing and managing the implementation of web projects.
- Effective in coordinating sprints and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Expertise in defining and executing experiments to improve website performance.
- Analytical skills to measure and enhance conversion rates.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Proficient in strategies to improve domain authority and organic search rankings.
- Knowledgeable in SEO best practices and implementation to guide the team's projects., * 5+ years of experience in a web lead,product owner, or senior web manager role, preferably in a B2B SaaS;
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing B2B websites to drive business results (Pipeline, Revenue, User Acquisition);
- Excellent understanding of web design principles, user experience, and Content Management Systems;
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, MixPanel) and A/B testing tools;
- Fluency in English;
- Experience managing an eCommerce website and PLG strategies would be a huge bonus!
Some practical things we expect from you:
- You're available for at least 4 days a week (32 hours);
- You are willing to come to our Utrecht office for two days/week;
- You have a valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship;
- You live in (or close to) Utrecht, or are willing to move.
