Software Automation Tester

• Act as the technical lead for software test automation projects, collaborating closely with other stakeholders\r\n
• Mentor junior members and support the wider team\r\n
• Review requirements and design documentation to define and develop test automation strategies\r\n
• Plan, create, and execute automated test suites (functional, integration, performance, and usability testing)\r\n
• Maintain and optimise automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium\r\n
• Record test results clearly and accurately, documenting defects with sufficient detail to aid diagnosis and resolution\r\n
• Set up and manage test environments, ensuring reliability and repeatability of testing processes\r\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and practices\r\n

• Qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field\r\n
• 3+ years' experience in software test automation within a software development environment\r\n
• Proven experience automating tests for complex applications using Selenium or similar tools\r\n
• Programming knowledge in Java and/or Python for developing automation scripts\r\n
• Experience testing products built with MS SQL, ASP.NET, and C#\r\n
• Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles\r\n
• Skilled in test planning, estimation, and risk management\r\n
• Able to work full time on site in the Isle of Wight or willing to relocate\r\n
