We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, who are seeking a Product Support Engineer to join their established technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Support Engineer to work in a highly specialised environment, supporting customers and internal stakeholders with technical expertise across complex engineering systems.
The successful Product Support Engineer will play a key role in delivering technical support, interpreting engineering data, and ensuring high standards of service across parts, systems, and product queries. This role offers strong exposure to cutting-edge engineering projects and the opportunity to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking business., * Provide technical support via phone and email to customers and field engineers.
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and bills of materials.
- Respond promptly to technical queries, ensuring high levels of service.
- Complete parts assembly breakdowns and ensure accurate part numbering.
- Produce, manage, and maintain service parts documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical information and resolve queries.
- Support service and parts enquiries linked to new tenders and contracts.

Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, or 5+ years' relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of parts assemblies, BOMs, and system classifications.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience handling technical queries in a customer-focused environment.
- Knowledge of fault finding and component/system repair.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering.
- Experience with CAD tools and vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of chassis, powertrain, or driveline systems.
- Experience delivering technical training or working with suppliers.
