IT Security Operations Engineer

This role carries responsibility for ensuring collaboration between Information Security and the IT Ops team, you'll ensure the implementation of technical security controls supporting risk mitigation and contributing to the continual improvement of the business's security composure.

• Prior experience working within the security industry, with a strong background in M365 infrastructure.\r\n
• Experience of working with SIEM tools\r\n
• Exposure to email security tools (Sophos, O365 etc)\r\n
• Excellent patch management skills (Intune SCCM, MECM Endpoint Manager and WSUS)\r\n
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and management (Insight VM)\r\n
• Experience with Endpoint Security\r\n
• Exposure to Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure etc.)\r\n
• Excellent networking skills (TCP/IP, SMB, DNS, DHCP etc)\r\n

• Monitor security solutions including SIEM, threat detection and data security, endpoint protection, network analytics for alerts\r\n
• Provide documentation for technical standards to meet corporate security policies/industry best practice\r\n
• Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture and apply appropriate remediation\r\n
• Ensure appropriate technical measures are in place to comply with regulations/legislations\r\n
• Conduct vulnerability scanning, analysis and remediation\r\n
• Patch management\r\n
• Identify root cause of security issues and design appropriate solutions\r\n
