Senior Software Tester (Embedded Systems)

We are looking for a Senior Software Tester for a long-term mission within a railway infrastructure environment. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability, robustness, and compliance of embedded applications and monitoring platforms critical to railway operations.

Responsibilities Define and execute functional, integration, and system validation tests Document test scenarios, results, and traceability Ensure robustness, compliance, and reliability of embedded software systems Analyze defects and support root cause investigations Validate bug fixes and improvements Ensure interoperability between software modules and field equipment Manage and maintain test plans using Azure DevOps Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes

Minimum 10 years in software testing (expert level) Strong experience in embedded systems and monitoring platforms Proven track record in system validation and integration testing Minimum 5 years using Azure DevOps Test Plans

Certifications ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Analyst, Technical Test Analyst, or Test Manager) ISTQB Test Automation Engineer (or equivalent)

Technical Skills Test automation expertise Strong defect analysis and validation capabilities Experience with complex system environments and interoperability testing

Languages Dutch or French: C1 level English: B2 level

Soft Skills Strong understanding of IT environments and operational challenges Ability to integrate into structured teams Clear and effective communication Professional attitude and accountability Strong presentation skills Commitment to long-term delivery
