Job description
We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer for a long-term mission within a critical IT environment focused on railway infrastructure data. The role supports systems managing network assets and real-time traffic planning through high-quality, reliable software delivery.
Responsibilities Design structured test scenarios based on business and technical requirements Estimate testing effort and document test strategies Implement and maintain automated test suites Execute manual tests and ensure full coverage across environments Produce clear test reports for all environments (DEV, INT, TST, ACC, PROD) Identify, document, and track defects and regressions Contribute actively to Agile/Scrum ceremonies Continuously improve existing testing processes and tools
Scope Infrastructure data systems (rail network, signals, switches) Graph-based data models and real-time systems Integration with planning and monitoring platforms Multi-environment validation and release pipelines
Requirements
10-15+ years in software testing and quality engineering Strong experience in test automation and manual testing Proven background in Agile/Scrum environments Experience with fat-client, web, and API testing
Technical Expertise Testing tools: TestComplete, HP ALM, HP UFT API testing and validation CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git Linux environments Databases: SQL, PL/SQL Data formats: XML, JSON, XSLT, gRPC
Certifications ISTQB (mandatory) HP Quality Center (preferred)
Languages French: C2 Dutch: B1 English: B2
Nice to Have Coaching or mentoring experience Experience in complex data-driven or infrastructure systems
