Job description
As the Migration Lead, you are responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution of all data migration activities within the transformation. You will engage with Data and IT Architecture to define the migration strategy, oversee all technical and business readiness activities, and manage the execution of mock loads and the final production cutover. This role is critical for ensuring data completeness, quality, and a smooth transition to the target systems.
Your role and responsibilities
- Migration planning & strategy.
- Develop and own the data migration plan, including scope, approach, and risk mitigation.
- Define in alignment with the data team, the processes for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading.
- Migration execution & governance.
- Lead the execution of all data migration cycles, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Implement robust data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.
- Stakeholder & team coordination.
- Work with business data owners to define data mapping and cleansing rules.
- Coordinate all technical, business, and vendor activities required for a successful migration.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information systems, data management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data migration, with a proven track record of leading complex data migration projects for enterprise-level programs.
- Experience with ETL tools, data quality solutions, and migration methodologies.
- Deep technical understanding of data architecture and migration processes.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with technical and business teams.
