Job description
Acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams
Translates business ambitions into clear data product initiatives and analytical solutions
Defines KPIs, data mapping, and transformation logic for datasets, pipelines, and reports
Contributes to data modeling, scalable architecture design, and adoption of data platforms
Analyzes and validates data using SQL and analytics tools
Writes clear functional documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications)
Ensures data quality through testing, UAT, validation rules, and root cause analysis
Supports data governance, metadata management, and continuous improvement of best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in management, economics, applied sciences, IT, or related field
Experience as Data Product Owner, Data Business Analyst, or Product Owner in data-driven environments
Strong SQL skills for analysis, validation, and data profiling
Solid knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting environments
Expertise in logical and physical data modeling
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, or similar)
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions
Professional proficiency in English; French and/or Dutch are a strong advantage
