Java Software Engineer (Mission-Critical Defence Systems)

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java software in a complex technical environment
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
• Ensure security, safety, and reliability are embedded in the codebase
• Work closely with other agile teams within the same domain
• Actively contribute to improving development and testing practices

We're seeking Java experts who have worked on high-complexity, mission-critical systems and enjoy solving complex technical challenges.

The role is 100% backend, but not rigid - engineers work in a fluid setup with room to move across problem domains, influence architecture, and continuously improve how systems are built and operated.

Required:

• 5+ years of software development experience in complex or mission-critical systems
• Dutch Citizenship (required)
