Job description

We have a new opportunity for an IT Operations Lead to join us and be the central point for our day-to-day IT operations across the business. You will be based at our Head Office, Crawley with occasional travel across the UK to our clinics.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for our IT service delivery, partner & vendor management, business application lifecycle and integration management. Coordination across all functions will be required ensuring operational stability, aligned decision-making and effective delivery of our IT services & projects. Requirements

  • Computer Science/IT degree or equivalent practical experience or ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or v4) desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of IT operations, IT service delivery or IT coordination experience
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles & IT service management practices
  • Solid understanding of MS 365, Azure cloud services, Windows environments & endpoint management
  • Demonstrated experience of managing IT vendors & 3rd party service providers against SLA's
  • Understanding of IT security fundamentals & data protection principles (UK GDPR)
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to explain IT matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Be hands-on, organised & proactive but comfortable operating independently & knowing when to escalate
  • Experience in healthcare or dental sector IT would be advantageous with familiarity of clinical imaging systems, practice management software or dental-specific technology
  • Application integration experience & data flows between business systems desirable
  • Experience working within a multi-site or multi-market organisation desirable
