Job description
- Fulfil service requests, resolve incidents, and provide technology support for the digital systems.
- Coordinate with other Technology teams to ensure alignment with ITIL-based service management processes.
- Perform system administration and routine operational procedures.
- Work with the marketing team to understand their support needs.
- Work with third line support service providers and technology vendors to deliver application support.
- Oversee system upgrades, patching, and testing cycles in collaboration with Technology and vendors.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
- Monitor system alerts, usage and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Requirements
You have experience delivering technical support and system administration, ensuring systems run reliably and efficiently. You're confident working with technology vendors and third-party support teams, building effective relationships to resolve issues quickly. You take ownership and help keep technology working smoothly for everyone. Other key experience needed:
- Solid understanding of IT service management principles, with experience managing the full-service lifecycle (e.g., incident, problem, change) using frameworks such as ITIL.
- Ability to work effectively at both the business and technical levels - understanding the marketing activities and translating into system solutions and guiding support partners accordingly.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across Finance and Technology teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a hands-on approach to issue resolution and service delivery.
- Professional certifications in relevant systems, platforms, or methodologies e.g. ITIL are desirable.
- Experience of implementing a range of attraction and selection methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience of working with an ATS, ideally Sage Recruit.
- Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong consultative and collaborative approach.
- Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to prioritise a high volume of work and work to tight deadlines.
- Desirable: Experience with marketing systems such as websites, CMS, email marketing and web analytics.
