Job description
As Test Automation Engineer, you are involved in the automated verification and validation of products made by engineers in a development process. Your technical and professional knowledge of Test Automation, programming, test environments and methodologies is solid. With your knowledge and experience with one or more test tools and test techniques, you can independently design and execute test automation solutions. You follow the latest developments in your field and you know what is going on.
You will play a key role in delivering value to our clients while also shaping Sogeti's presence in test automation. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading test automation projects, from strategy definition to implementation.
- Supporting pre-sales activities, including creating proposals and client presentations.
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools.
- Providing technical expertise and training in test tools and automation strategies.
- Conducting test automation assessments, ROI analysis, and roadmap development.
Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- A bachelor's or master's degree, with a minimum of ca. 4 years of experience in test automation.
- Proficiency with test tools such as Cypress, Tosca, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and more.
- Experience with structured programming languages like Java, Python, or C++.
- Familiarity with development practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps) and related tools (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub).
- Strong communication skills and a consultancy mindset.

- Expertise in implementing structured test automation processes.
- Ability to align automation efforts with manual testing workflows.
- A high problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
