Lead the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
- Define coding standards and best practices, ensuring compliance across the team
- Mentor and coach junior developers to boost their technical skills and performance
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the development process
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software
- Embrace the DevOps mindset: you build it, you own it, you run it
- Ensure stability, performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including peer reviews and occasional QA activities
- Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation (paid additionally).
Requirements
We are looking for a Java Tech Lead with at least 5 years of experience and with AWS to join the project of our client from the banking sector.
High english level is required., Very strong Java programming skills and solid experience building APIs
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience with different testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance and Load Testing
- Experience with distributed architectures (SOA / Microservices)
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience using Gradle or Maven
- Experience with Enterprise Jenkins
- Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
- English at least C1
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment, like banking
- Experience with Docker
- AWS certification
- Experience with TDD and BDD
