Job description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in microservices development, event-driven architecture, and cloud technologies, along with exposure to AI integrations. The candidate will work onsite (in person) and will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications.
The Opportunity:
Design and develop enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
Develop microservices and RESTful APIs
Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka
Work with MongoDB and Oracle databases
Integrate applications with AWS services, including S3
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Integrate AI/ML services and APIs into enterprise applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Data/AI teams
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem-solving
Provide production support and performance optimization

Requirements
6+ years of experience in Java development
Strong experience in Spring Boot and Microservices
Experience with Kafka-based event-driven systems
Exposure to AI/ML integrations and cloud platforms

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below., Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
