IT Project Manager

Major Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support our client with the delivery of EPOS and self-checkout installation projects within the retail sector . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery is achieved on time, within scope, and in accordance with agreed quality standards., Manage the end-to-end delivery of EPOS and self-checkout installation projects within retail environments

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation

Coordinate project resources, including engineers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

Monitor project progress, managing risks, issues, and change control effectively

Ensure all installations comply with technical specifications, health and safety requirements, and company policies

Provide accurate and timely project reporting to senior stakeholders

Demonstrable experience in a Project Manager role within the retail sector

Proven experience delivering EPOS and self-checkout installation projects

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Desirable Experience

Experience managing multi-site retail technology rollouts

Knowledge of retail IT infrastructure and operational environments
