Job description

In this role you will provide inspirational expertise to develop SME's across the business in the use of data analysis.

Working with the Analytics Manager, you will ensure the data roadmap objectives are achieved. This role will challenge you to gather stakeholder requirements, design and develop systems to aid data visualisation (such as Power BI) and establish mechanisms to identify improvements, measure benefits and undertake gap analysis., * Respond to change requirements to existing dashboards, requests for new dashboard, reporting requirements to meet business objectives

  • Manage underlying data in SQL to transform data in readiness for Power BI developments
  • Obtain data from primary and secondary data sources, maintain databases /data systems
  • Creatively apply analytical methods to address business questions/challenges
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and provide ongoing performance reports
  • Create, enhance and present interactive reports in an accessible and digestible format using Power BI for end users
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, using a consultative approach to solve business challenges
  • Understand the big picture, macro environments both internally and externally

Requirements

  • You dare to care - You are an experienced data professional and care about ensuring the business makes the most from its data and insights
  • Solid stakeholder management - You can effortlessly understand a stakeholder's needs and implement sustainable insights solutions
  • DB300 and/or DP600 Certified - You have attained certification in either of these
  • Dax, SQL, Azure, R or Python - You are well versed in this variety of BI and ETL software
  • STEM degree, Management or Statistics - Degree or equivalent experience
