Description

QE - Automation (API & Event-Based)

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for Back End systems

Create automated tests for API calls and event-driven workflows

Validate Kafka-based messaging and event streams

Write test code in Java or Kotlin (development-level proficiency required)

Use Test containers to support isolated, repeatable test environments

Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with developers and other QEs to improve overall test strategy

Required Skills & Experience

2-3+ years' Experience in Quality Engineering or Automation Testing

Strong automation Experience for APIs

Hands-on Experience with Kafka/event-based systems

Ability to code automated tests in Java or Kotlin

Experience using Test containers

Comfortable working in Agile teams

Additional Details

Industry Background: Open (no specific industry Experience required)

3x days a week in Burgess hill office.
