Job description
Research & train eMM's deep learning models. You will work with large scale data sets to research and train deep learning models for speech recognition. You will research and develop novel algorithms and techniques to advance the state of the art in natural language understanding. You will conduct research and experiments in order to improve accuracy of our Deep Learning ASR pipeline. You will also dig into weaknesses and failure points of our current ASR models in order to identify further areas for improvement.
Requirements
In order to qualify for this position, a FH or university MSc or Doctorate (preferred) in Computer Science, Signal Processing, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent is required., * Pytorch, Kaldi, DeepSpeech
- Applied deep learning research & development
- Training large models on multiple GPUs
Preferred Experience (any of the following):
- Speaker diarization
- Speech recognition, off-line or real-time
- Kaldi, DeepSpeech, Wav2letter++, Wav2vec, CTC, RNNTs, LSTM
Skills:
- Programming: Python, Shell, Perl
- Basic knowledge of software engineering (git, devops, Linux, etc.) and experience scheduling long running processes on computed clusters
- Proficiency in English; any other languages is highly desired

According to the collective agreement, the monthly gross salary is € 2503,00 (paid out 14 times a year, overpay is possible depending on qualifications).
