Job description
A multinational technology company in Madrid is seeking a Java Technical Lead (AWS) to oversee a development team for a global project. The ideal candidate should possess strong Java programming skills, experience with AWS services, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies. This role also includes mentoring junior developers and ensuring high-quality software delivery, thus contributing to a leading provider in digital technology services. - Mentor and coach junior developers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
- Ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software.
- Participate in complete Software Development Life Cycle, including occasional QA and peer review.
Requirements
- Very strong Java programming skills and knowledge of building APIs.
- Deep understanding of all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with different testing types: Unit Testing, API Testing, Acceptance Testing, Load Testing.
- Relevant experience with AWS services.
- Experience with Gradle or Maven.
- Experience working in an Agile fashion (e.g. Scrum, SAFe).
- Experience with Docker.
- AWS certification.
- Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate).
