QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced QA Automation Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

Main Responsibilities

Duties will include:

·Work as an embedded member of the Scrum team, focused on quality and automated testing

·Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests for back end services.

·Web based UI and mobile apps using appropriate tools such as Selenium and Browserstack.

·APIs

·Strong understanding of testing concepts/methodologies and processes such as Gopher/BDD

·Work closely with developers, PO, BAs and wider team to define and develop best possible test solutions

·Ensure defects are raised as per defect management process using Jira

·Develop and maintain automated functional and regression tests

• Experience using C# and Specflow/ReqNRoll to build automated test suites

·Experience with POM

·Strong experience in test automation using C# and Selenium WebDriver

·3+ years' experience writing automated tests

·Experience with building out test frameworks from scratch

·Experience with Azure (APIM, Azure Functions, API Services), React/React-Native and .NET Core

·Experience working in CI\CD pipeline environment

·A good understanding of test-driven design principles and writing clean test code

Desirable skills include:

·Proficiency in at least one major API testing framework

·Strong understanding of software product development lifecycle, Agile Delivery Methodologies, Scrum/Kanban and test processes.

·Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

·Experience with API testing (REST, Postman)

·Azure DevOps

·Able to embody and evangelise the principles and practice of QA

·YAML, Terraform

·SQL knowledge for test data validation

• Pragmatic approach to balancing automation vs manual testing

·Jira and Confluence
