Job description

  • Provide technical support via phone and email, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently
  • Deliver product familiarisation and technical system guidance to customers and stakeholders
  • Interpret technical drawings and documentation to support fault finding and queries
  • Produce and maintain accurate parts listings, BOMs, and technical records
  • Support service and parts enquiries related to new contracts and tenders
  • Ensure product manuals and technical documentation are up to date
  • Log calls, identify trends, and highlight training needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • Strong experience handling technical queries and supporting customers
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with parts listings, system classification, and BOMs
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, * HND in Engineering or similar qualification
  • Experience using 2D/3D CAD systems
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems, including control systems, chassis, powertrain, or driveline
  • Familiarity with vehicle regulations
  • Experience delivering technical or product training
  • Working knowledge of Sage Line 500
