Job description
- Provide technical support via phone and email, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently
- Deliver product familiarisation and technical system guidance to customers and stakeholders
- Interpret technical drawings and documentation to support fault finding and queries
- Produce and maintain accurate parts listings, BOMs, and technical records
- Support service and parts enquiries related to new contracts and tenders
- Ensure product manuals and technical documentation are up to date
- Log calls, identify trends, and highlight training needs
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Strong experience handling technical queries and supporting customers
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with parts listings, system classification, and BOMs
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, * HND in Engineering or similar qualification
- Experience using 2D/3D CAD systems
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, including control systems, chassis, powertrain, or driveline
- Familiarity with vehicle regulations
- Experience delivering technical or product training
- Working knowledge of Sage Line 500
