At DeepL, we are scaling rapidly to support ambitious growth across markets, customers, and partners. The Sales Operations & Strategy team plays a central role in this journey, acting as trusted strategic advisors to the business and enabling predictable, sustainable revenue growth.

We work closely with sales, finance, marketing, and other cross-functional partners to solve complex problems with data and deliver scalable, repeatable solutions. By integrating insights across systems such as Salesforce, Kluster, Metabase, and the Google suite, we bring rigor, clarity, and operational excellence to decision-making.

Through this approach, we empower sales teams to perform at their best while supporting DeepL's long-term growth objectives., Go-to-Market Strategy & Planning

  • Co-design and implement go-to-market and operational plans, including sales coverage models, productivity targets, territory design, and account assignments to support predictable, scalable growth.
  • Support annual budgeting and planning processes, ensuring alignment between strategy, capacity, and revenue targets.

Strategic Partnership & Change Leadership

  • Drive and support transformation and change initiatives across regions, leading cross-functional programs and projects that improve sales effectiveness and operational scalability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional sales leadership, providing insight, challenge, and recommendations grounded in data.

Forecasting, Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Own active monitoring of key sales KPIs, delivering high-quality analysis and insights to support senior leadership decision-making.
  • Lead pipeline development and monitoring, identifying coverage gaps and assessing the effectiveness of pipeline generation programs.

Executive & Leadership Enablement

  • Prepare executive-level presentations and management materials, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and present insights to senior leadership as required.
  • Provide leadership coverage when Sales Leaders are unavailable, including delivering forecasts, leading QBRs, and representing the regional sales perspective.

Strategic Project Ownership & Global Scalability

  • Own and drive strategic projects end-to-end, from initial ideation and business case development to global execution and impact measurement, ensuring alignment between local regional needs and global scalability.
  • Proactively challenge existing processes and the status quo to identify inefficiencies, proposing innovative, tech-forward solutions that drive competitive advantage.

Communication & Alignment

  • Serve as a two-way conduit between central functional teams and the regional sales organization, clearly communicating global priorities while representing regional needs, risks, and opportunities back to the center.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, or Economics)., 5+ years of professional experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Strategic Consulting, or Financial Planning & Analysis., * Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, derive insight from data, and translate analysis into clear recommendations and action. Comfortable using tools such as Google Sheets and Kluster to perform analysis and inform decision-making.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing short-term execution with longer-term strategic thinking.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to think across multiple dimensions of the business and P&L, operate across regions, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Strategic yet hands-on, able to operate credibly with senior management and flex seamlessly between analytical depth, strategic framing, and operational execution.
  • Trusted partner to senior stakeholders, able to influence through insight, data, and constructive challenge, while building long-term relationships based on credibility and results.
