Job description
Cyber Security Engineers will work on strengthening the security of mission-critical products for the defence industry. You will provide cyber security expertise across the full engineering lifecycle, ensuring cyber risks are managed effectively. You will play a vital role in ensuring the security of control systems used by the MoD and our international partners. Responsibilities
- Provide cyber security advice throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Automate cyber security risk and vulnerability assessments, including through use of AI.
- Maintain the integrity of product cyber security risk management artefacts and offer technical advice.
- Plan a range of product cyber security activities.
Requirements
- Strong background in cyber security engineering, with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or similar or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with cyber and engineering design data.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of NIST CSF.
- Experience in threat modelling using frameworks such as Mitre ATT&CK, DEF3ND or EMB3D.
- Experience in cyber security risk management.
- Experience with vulnerability, patch and update management.
- Due to the nature of our work, you must be a sole UK national for this clearance type.
