Job description
- Create business architecture models that reflect the organization's strategies and goals.
- Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities
- Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan
- Support the rationalisation of IT systems.
- Support management of corporate governance processes.
- Support the development and operation of project, programme and portfolio management frameworks.
- Provide effective leadership to analysts or architects under his/her coordination.
- Coordinate contributions to corporate requests in the EA and EPMO area.
- Contribute to the delivery of Digital Transformation strategy for DG GROW
- Contribute to the application of the principles of the EC Digital Strategy in DG GROW.
- Conduct costs/benefit analysis.
- Conduct As-Is and To-be situation analysis and gap analysis.
- Prepare and moderate meetings with different level of stakeholders
- Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance
- Conduct research to find ways to improve processes in the organisation
Requirements
- Concrete experience in Application architecture, and practical experience on cloud architectures
- Enterprise architecture frameworks, notations and tools.
- Project,programme and portfolio management
- IT Governance
- Information systems lifecycle
- Software development experience
- Basic concepts of Service and operations management
Skills
- Ability to follow and interpret internal corporate procedures and standards.
- Ability to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology related opportunities and problems.
- Extensive experience with enterprise and application architecture best practices and goals.
- Communications skills, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.:
- reports, articles, etc.). Leadership and conciliation skills.
- Modelling and graphical representations and abstractions
- Experience in analysis and software design.
- Some experience with managing corporate governance processes., * Minimum 13 years of IT professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Architecture
- Minimum 5 years of project, programme and portfolio management methodologies. (E.g. Prince2, PMI, PM2, MSP, MoP, etc)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development methodology (e.g. RUP,AGILE)
- Minimum 5 years of project management tools (e.g. MS-Project, JIRA)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Governance.
- Experience contributing and coordinating briefings in the digital area.
- Experience with managing corporate governance processes.
- Some experience with Enterprise Architecture modelling (e.g. BPMN, UML).
- Experience in cost/benefit analysis or in As-is/To-be/Gap analysis.
