Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their cyber career to develop hands-on experience across a broad range of security activities. You'll play a key role in helping protect critical IT services, supporting customers, and contributing to a secure and resilient environment.

Working alongside experienced Cyber Analysts, you'll gain exposure to real-world cyber incidents, vulnerability management, and security operations, while building your technical and analytical capability.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll support the delivery of cyber security services across Delt's multiple customers, including:

Security Operations & Incident Response

· Monitor alerts and respond to security incidents

· Escalate issues appropriately while learning from senior analysts

· Provide support to users and teams impacted by cyber events

Vulnerability Management

· Identify and assess vulnerabilities using a range of tools

· Produce reports and dashboards on security trends

· Recommend fixes and mitigation actions

Cyber Awareness

· Manage end-user cyber awareness platforms

· Respond to phishing reports and improve email filtering

· Create engaging materials to improve user understanding

General Responsibilities

· Maintain and support cyber security tools

· Deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders

Requirements

Do you have experience in Cybersecurity?, We're less concerned about job titles and more interested in your potential, attitude, and foundation knowledge. We are looking for applicants with the following:

  • Some experience in IT infrastructure or cyber security
  • A basic understanding of cyber threats and security principles
  • Knowledge of:
  • Windows / Linux operating systems
  • Networking (firewalls, routers, wireless)
  • Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
  • Confidence following processes and knowing when to escalate
  • A customer-focused mindset

Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+ or Microsoft fundamentals would be beneficial, as would ITIL Foundation, however these are not essential requirements to be considered for the role., * Cybersecurity: 1 year (preferred)
