You'll enjoy working with modern security tooling, building scalable detection capabilities and helping our SOC and Cyber teams stay one step ahead. A bit about the job: You'll join our Security Engineering team as a go to expert for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and the wider Microsoft 365 Defender/XDR suite. Your work will shape how we protect Aviva's devices and people - creating secure, resilient and scalable platform capabilities. This isn't an operational SOC role. It's hands-on engineering: managing the platform

building automation, enhancing detection, and integrating modern tooling to strengthen our security posture. You'll help us spot threats earlier, respond faster and continuously improve how we defend our organisation. Skills and experience we're looking for: Strong experience in cybersecurity with a focus on endpoint security engineering. Deep expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and the Microsoft 365 Defender/XDR suite. Hands on policy deployment experience through Intune/MEM. Experience using KQL and building Custom Detections. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python.
