Job description

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

£90,000-£110,000 + 10% Bonus

London - Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office

We are representing a fast-growing cloud company building next-generation GPU cloud infrastructure at genuine scale. Operating across 18 countries and rapidly expanding, this business is competing directly with the leading names in the neo-cloud space - and this hire sits at the technical core of their UK infrastructure team.

As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will take direct ownership of the design, operation, and continuous improvement of a business-critical OpenStack and Kubernetes platform supporting AI, ML, and HPC workloads globally. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will have real visibility and real impact - with exposure to new data centre builds and the kind of technical breadth that is hard to find elsewhere.

We are looking for:

  • Significant hands-on experience operating OpenStack in production environments
  • Strong experience running production-grade Kubernetes clusters, ideally in bare-metal or private cloud setups
  • Solid grounding in Linux, networking, and storage - with a practical approach to troubleshooting and performance optimisation at scale
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows
  • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving scale-up
  • Exposure to GPU-based infrastructure, HPC, or large-scale compute platforms is a bonus but not essential

To apply, please submit your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 5 business days.
