Job description
You'll be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support, acting as a key point of contact for IT queries and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Providing helpdesk support and managing incoming IT tickets
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues
- Supporting Microsoft 365 environments (including email and user management)
- Working with Active Directory / Azure AD
- Assisting with system configuration, installation and testing
- Monitoring systems and supporting network operations
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket updates
- Supporting users with varying levels of technical ability
- Assisting with IT equipment, asset tracking and general administration
- Collaborating with internal teams and supporting wider business needs
You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in new technologies, system improvements and ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an IT support / service desk role
- Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop and user environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Familiarity with Active Directory (or Azure AD)
- Good communication skills and a user-focused approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Any experience with networking tools, security systems or monitoring platforms would be beneficial, but not essential.
