Lead the full lifecycle of global projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timeframes, and budgetary constraints to satisfy business and customer requirements. Craft and implement detailed project plans encompassing schedules, resource management, risk assessment, budgets, and key performance indicators to drive accountability and transparency. Facilitate and coordinate collaboration among diverse cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, finance, procurement, and client relations, promoting synergy and effective problem-solving. Serve as the central communication point for all project-related matters, articulating clear updates on progress, potential challenges, and mitigation strategies to internal and external stakeholders. Proactively identify project risks and develop contingency plans to address potential issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project objectives. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by analysing project outcomes, applying lessons learnt, and sharing best practices to optimise future project delivery. Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members, fostering professional growth and enhancing project management capabilities within the organisation. Requirements
Extensive experience in global project management within the logistics sector, preferably with air and ocean freight operations, demonstrating a track record of successfully managing large-scale initiatives. Proven leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively lead and inspire multicultural teams located across different geographies. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and timeliness. Advanced knowledge of recognised project management methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2, coupled with proficiency in project management software tools including MS Project and Jira. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and persuasive engagement with stakeholders at all organisational levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset for overcoming challenges. Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are highly valued and considered advantageous.
