Job description

IAM/Security Engineer - MFA (Entra/Okta)

SC Eligible

Hybrid

IAM/Security Engineer required to support MFA rollout across a hybrid estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy MFA (Entra ID/Okta/similar)
  • Implement Conditional Access policies
  • Integrate MFA with on-prem and Legacy systems
  • Troubleshoot authentication and access issues
  • Work with system owners to onboard applications
  • Execute testing and produce audit evidence

Core Skills

  • Hands-on MFA implementation (Entra ID, Okta, Ping, Duo)
  • Strong IAM fundamentals (authentication, RBAC, access controls)
  • Experience with hybrid environments (AD + Cloud)
  • Experience integrating MFA into existing systems
  • Strong troubleshooting capability

Desirable

  • Public sector/NHS experience
  • DSPT/NCSC CAF/ISO 27001 exposure
  • PAM knowledge

Requirements
