Job description
We're supporting a large-scale transformation programme within a highly regulated environment, focused on building and scaling enterprise AI capability across a complex data landscape.
This is a senior, strategic hire responsible for shaping AI platform architecture, driving standards, and aligning AI solutions to real business use cases.
Key focus areas:
Design and evolve enterprise AI and data platform architecture
Define governance, data modelling, and information architecture standards
Lead selection and implementation of AI technologies (AWS stack including Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q)
Partner with senior stakeholders across data, engineering, and business functions
Guide a small team and work with external delivery partners
Requirements
Strong experience in enterprise AI/data platform architecture
Deep understanding of AI lifecycle, deployment, and platform design
Experience with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS preferred)
Background in data governance, metadata, and modelling
Proven stakeholder leadership in complex organisations
Nice to have:
Experience within pharma, life sciences, or other regulated industries
Exposure to LLM / GenAI or multimodal systems
Manufacturing or industrial AI use cases
