Job description

We're working with a well-established Managed Services Provider in Mid Ulster that is experiencing significant growth and looking to bring in a Senior IT Support Engineer (L3) to strengthen their technical team. This is a hands-on, senior role where you'll play a key part in delivering projects, onboarding new clients, and acting as the escalation point for complex technical issues. You'll be joining a tight-knit team and working directly with senior leadership, with real ownership and impact from day one. What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the setup and onboarding of new client environments
  • Deploying and configuring Microsoft 365 tenancies
  • Installing and configuring servers, firewalls, and networking equipment
  • Acting as the senior escalation point for complex IT issues
  • Supporting a range of client environments across NI and the UK
  • Visiting client sites regularly to deliver hands-on support
  • Working closely with internal team members to improve service delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior IT support / L3 role

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Microsoft 365 / tenancy setup

  • Servers and infrastructure

  • Firewalls, routers, and networking

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery

  • Comfortable in a client-facing environment

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites

MSP experience is desirable but not essential. The Environment
