Job description

  • Providing first-level ICT support to users via available communication channels, including telephone, IT Service Management systems, email, and walk-in IT KIOSK;
  • Resolving issues at first contact (First Contact Resolution / 1st line resolution);
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues across a broad range of IT products and services, including but not limited to:
  • Supporting laptops, including VPN connectivity, Microsoft products, and business applications;
  • Managing mobile devices (phones and tablets), including MDM platforms, work environment applications, and device enrolment and configuration;
  • Managing user access and permissions.

Requirements

  • Relevant Service Desk 1st level support experience is a must;
  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience;
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and OS.
