Job description
As a Junior Network & Security Automation Engineer, you will join one of our NW&DC engineering teams. With your basic knowledge of networking, security concepts and automation we will help you to grow while you're actively contributing to:
- Modern network platforms that operate both onprem and in the cloud
- Automated services used directly by application and platform teams (selfservice)
- Securitybydesign networking, where policies are enforced consistently and centrally
- The transition to InfrastructureasCode, CI/CD and APIdriven network services
You will work in an Agile environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement, reliability and standardization. On top you will support experienced engineers and grow quickly by contributing handson to:

Engineering & Automation.

Configure, manage and automate network and security solutions (F5, Check Point, Palo Alto, Zscaler, proxies, firewalls, load balancers).

Build repeatable, templatebased network patterns.

Automate tasks using Python, Ansible, Git, YAML and InfrastructureasCode principles.

CI/CD integrations, validation and security checks within pipelines.

Security & Governance.
-
Apply security policies, segmentation models and traffic governance frameworks.

End to end networking and security integrations in hybrid environments Agentic Networking & AI integration.

Learn how we evolve towards an autonomous, agentic network-with automated decision-making and selfhealing engineering.

Explore how (Gen)AI can support policy generation, troubleshooting, observability and pattern detection.

A customer centric focus, You have a proactive, collaborative mindset with a desire to grow into a T-shaped Network Engineer, that's what your basic attitude is. You bring a foundation in:

Networking at CCNA level or similar (routing, switching, security, segmentation).

Basic understanding of security concepts.

Curiosity and interest in automation (Python, Ansible, Git, YAML).

Experience with GenAI tools, LLM integration or enabled troubleshooting.

Understanding of cloud networking (Azure/AWS).
-
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana or Elastic.
