Job description

We're looking for a Technical Support & Integrations Specialist to join our team as the go-to person for diagnosing and resolving technical issues across our WMS platforms (ShipHero, Mintsoft) and client sales channels (Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and others). You'll also play a key role in onboarding new clients - getting their stores connected, shipping methods mapped, and automations configured so they go live smoothly.

This is a hands-on, problem-solving role. A typical day might involve a client messaging to say "My orders aren't moving" - you'd jump into their account, spot that shipping method mappings are missing based on order history, configure the mappings, and resolve it. You're the person who removes friction for clients and the CS team alike.

Key Responsibilities Technical Support

  • Diagnose and resolve day-to-day technical issues escalated by the Customer Success team, covering ShipHero, Mintsoft, and all integrated sales channels.

  • Troubleshoot order sync failures, shipping method mapping errors, inventory discrepancies, and channel connection issues across Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and other platforms.

  • Investigate root causes using order history, API logs, and platform admin tools - not just surface-level symptoms.

  • Escalate complex or platform-level bugs to ShipHero support or internal development, providing clear technical context to speed resolution.

  • Document recurring issues, common fixes, and create internal knowledge base articles to reduce repeat tickets.

Client Onboarding & Integrations

  • Lead the technical side of new client onboarding: connecting sales channels, configuring shipping rules, mapping shipping methods, and setting up automation workflows in ShipHero.

  • Work with clients to understand their fulfilment requirements and translate them into correct platform configurations.

  • Configure 3PL billing profiles, automation rules, and inventory management settings for new accounts.

  • Run pre-launch checks to ensure orders flow correctly end-to-end before a client goes live.

  • Support WMS migration projects (e.g. Mintsoft to ShipHero), ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to client operations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify patterns in support tickets and proactively suggest process or configuration improvements.

  • Stay up to date with ShipHero, Mintsoft, and sales channel platform updates, features, and API changes.

  • Collaborate with the internal development team on custom integration projects and API-based solutions.

  • Contribute to building out standard operating procedures for common integration setups., * Exposure to tools like Postman for API testing, or comfort reading JSON/XML payloads.

What We Offer

  • Remote-first working with flexibility - occasional visits to our Cambridgeshire sites as needed.

  • A key role in a high-growth company with genuine career progression as we scale internationally.

  • Exposure to cutting-edge logistics technology: robotics, AI-powered systems, and proprietary software.

Requirements

  • Experience in a technical support, integrations, or solutions role - ideally within eCommerce, logistics, or SaaS.

  • Hands-on familiarity with at least two of: Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, eBay, or Etsy.

  • Comfortable navigating WMS or OMS platforms (ShipHero, Mintsoft, or similar tools like Linnworks, Veeqo, ShipStation).

  • Ability to read API documentation and debug integration issues (you don't need to be a developer, but you need to think like one).

  • Strong problem-solving skills - you can look at an order history and quickly identify what's gone wrong.

  • Clear, client-friendly communication skills: you can explain technical issues to non-technical people.

  • Self-starter who can manage their own workload and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Experience working in or with a 3PL, fulfilment house, or warehouse operations environment.

  • Familiarity with ShipHero specifically, including automation rules, shipping method mapping, and 3PL billing.

  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data flows between platforms.

  • Experience with carrier integrations (Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, UPS, USPS).
