Job description
The Digital Content & Marketing Executive will take ownership of content creation and social media, while also playing an active role across the wider marketing function, including campaign strategy, paid media, and performance analysis.

- Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging photo and video content that showcases Brian James Trailers' products in real-world environments.
- Capture content from a variety of settings, including events, exhibitions, dealer locations and customer sites.
- Produce content tailored appropriately for multiple platforms (namely Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube) covering short and long-form video, product showcases, brand storytelling and testimonials.
- Maintain a consistent and premium visual identity aligned with the Brian James Trailers brand positioning
Social Media Ownership & Growth
Take full ownership of the company's social media channels.
Plan, develop, and execute a structured content calendar
Build audience engagement and strengthen our brand presence across all digital platforms
Monitor performance and continuously optimise content strategy
Marketing Campaigns & Digital Activity
Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and contribute to paid media activity across Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
Write effective, conversion-focused ad copy and marketing messaging to generate high quality leads.
Support product launches, seasonal campaigns and promotional initiatives when required
Performance, Insight & Optimisation
Monitor and analyse content and campaign performance
Produce clear, insightful monthly reports with actionable recommendations
Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Apply a test-and-learn approach to continuously enhance results
Wider Marketing Contribution
Play an active role in the ongoing development of the marketing function
Contribute ideas to improve brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation
Collaborate with internal teams, dealer networks, and external partners
Support additional marketing initiatives as the function continues to grow
Please note: This role will involve travel, driving and sometimes include weekend work, for which time off in lieu or overtime pay will be provided.
Requirements
Essential Experience & Skills
Demonstrable experience in social media management and content creation
Strong photo and video production skills, including editing
Excellent written communication and copywriting ability
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience & Skills
Experience within automotive, engineering, or related sectors
Experience in paid media campaigns across social and PPC platforms
Understanding of broader digital marketing principles
Experience using analytics and reporting tools, * GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
