Job description
Aspect Housing LTD is seeking an organised and proactive Support Administrator to provide essential administrative and support-related functions across our supported housing services. This role is central to ensuring smooth coordination between office-based administration and outdoor support teams, while maintaining compliance with HMO and Supported Exempt Accommodation standards., The Support Administrator plays a key role in supporting service users indirectly by ensuring their documentation, support sessions, and housing-related processes are completed accurately and on time. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality records, coordinating updates with support workers, and managing essential communication with external agencies such as Housing Benefit departments., * Complete service user support sessions in line with organisational standards and HMO requirements.
- Ensure all service user files are accurate, up to date, and fully compliant with internal and external regulations.
- Track when risk assessments, support plans, and other mandatory documents require review.
- Notify and follow up with outdoor support workers to ensure timely completion of updates.
Housing Benefit & Resident Support
- Make and receive Housing Benefit calls to support service users with claims, queries, and evidence submissions.
- Assist with gathering documentation required for HB claims, backdates, and ongoing entitlement.
- Maintain accurate logs of all communication and updates related to resident benefits.
Administrative Coordination
- Provide general administrative support to the Support Team Leader and wider support team.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with staff to ensure smooth coordination of support activities.
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to GDPR.
- Support with property-related administrative tasks, such as updating HMO compliance folders, inspection logs, and safety documentation.
Requirements
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-focused, confident using IT systems, and comfortable working in a fast-paced supported housing environment., * Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confident working with service users, support staff, and external agencies
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (including email management)
- Experience in an administrative or support-focused role (supported housing experience desirable)
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Comfortable using digital systems and maintaining accurate records, * Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
