Job description
Power BI Specialist Location: Remote (occasional team meetings in London) Lengths: 6 months Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Power BI specialist to support and optimise a large-scale reporting environment. The role will focus on enhancing core reporting, supporting a modernised Power BI setup (PoV/PoC), and improving visibility across IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise Power BI reports across a complex reporting estate
- Support creation of Proof of Value (PoV)/Proof of Concept (PoC) for new Power BI setup
- Enhance reporting to improve business visibility of IT activities
- Work with service requests, tickets, and reporting via JIRA
- Support major incident and problem management reporting
- Contribute to reducing incidents through improved reporting insights
- Deliver cross-training to global users (UK, Singapore, New York)
- Collaborate within ITSM/ITIL frameworks (incident & life cycle management)
Required Skills & Experience
- Expert-level Power BI development and reporting experience
- Strong experience working with large, complex reporting environments
- Hands-on experience with JIRA (essential)
- Solid understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes (incident & problem management)
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and reporting improvements
- Experience supporting global teams and delivering training
Additional Information
- Remote-first role with occasional London-based meetings
- Automation is not a current focus-core reporting expertise is key
- Immediate start preferred
