Job description
We're recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology organisation operating at scale in mission-critical, cloud-first environments.
You'll play a key role in designing, automating, and improving Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, enabling engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, high-performance services. This is a hands-on senior role focused on automation, cloud optimisation, and proactive operational excellence-not fire-fighting.
What you'll do:
- Design and run Azure cloud infrastructure at scale
- Build and standardise CI/CD pipelines and IaC
- Support containerised platforms (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
- Improve monitoring, security, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Partner closely with software engineering and QA teams
What we're looking for:
- Strong Azure DevOps/cloud engineering experience
- CI/CD, IaC, and containerisation expertise
- Passion for automation, reliability, and best practice
In terms of the softer skills as you will need to be a strong and confident communicator as you will be working with the both infrastructure and development teams to discuss the current projects and plans. The client site is in a remote location therefore you will be able to drive and will be required onsite two to three days a week.
