Job description
As a UX Optimisation Specialist, your role is key in creating the tests that drive our growth. The recognised expert and go-to person on all the technical and quality aspects of how we work. Working closely with our analysts and tech teams to come to the optimal testing setup As a UX Optimisation Specialist, you will:
- Lead on optimisation strategies across all group brands and provide support to the Optimisation Manager and Head of UX
- Identify opportunities that enhance the user journey and deliver significant revenue growth. This could be through A/B testing or providing actionable insight
- Develop evidence-based problem statements and hypotheses using insights from data and research to shape test roadmap
- Act as 'project manager' on optimisation strategies, keeping stakeholders informed
- Responsible for the feasibility and implementation of test code and data, working closely with tech teams and relevant business experts
- Build and support the creation rigorous test monitoring and analysis. Clearly communicate results, learnings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Own the technical communication of tests, with an ability to break down complex concepts, making them understandable to a non-technical people
- Own the QA process and sets the standard for the quality of all test build, tracking and configuration. Ensures standards are adhered to.
- Act as SME, providing support, training and mentoring to other members of the team.
- Proactively discover new methods to improve our approach
- Own CRO tools from an implementation and configuration point of view: tag implementation, data integration, cookies set up & maintenance etc.
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial experience in CRO with specialist mentoring / consulting experience
- Thorough understanding of MV, A/B testing methods, able to challenge and refine test ideas, build a strong hypothesis, and identify the right KPIs
- A good knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript/JQuery and developing in A/B testing tools
- Experience with A/B testing tools, and systems such as AB Tastey, Adobe Target, Webtrends etc.
- Highly analytical and loves data, an expert at digging into Google Analytics
- A great communicator: able to manage and align with stakeholders within and outside the tech team
- Positive attitude, great desire to learn and passion to solve problems and see results
- Not afraid to propose out of the box ideas but always backed up with data
