Job description
- We are your Energy Technology Partner. We electrify, automate, and digitalize every industry, business, and home, driving efficiency and sustainability for all., The IT Business Partner acts as the IT manager and trusted advisor for the assigned sites, with end-to-end accountability for IT strategy, run, and project delivery at site level. The role works closely with site management and Digital teams to ensure that IT solutions support operational performance, comply with Schneider Digital standards, and enable business transformation., * Act as the single point of contact between assigned industrial sites and Digital/IT.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with site leadership, operations, supply chain, and key users.
- Advise and consult site management to clarify business needs and translate them into structured IT requests.
- Act as a key escalation point for management, particularly during major incidents or critical situations.
- Ensure effective communication and application of Digital strategy, standards, and policies at site level.
IT Strategy, Demand & Portfolio Management
- Act as the IT manager for the sites, with accountability for strategy, run, and project delivery.
- Define, maintain, and align a mid- to long-term (3-year) IT evolution roadmap for the sites.
- Capture, structure, and prioritize IT demands using standard governance and portfolio processes.
- Manage the IT portfolio evolution and prioritize initiatives based on value, risk, and compliance.
Projects & Digital Transformation
- Act as IT sponsor and business partner for all IT-related projects impacting the sites.
- Follow up on projects and application evolutions, ensuring alignment with business expectations.
- Coordinate internal Digital teams and external partners.
- Monitor delivery progress, manage risks, and escalate issues when required., * Support sites during major incidents, ensuring rapid coordination and clear communication.
- Manage operational issues to minimize business impact and reduce incident recurrence.
- Drive problem management and root-cause analysis, ensuring corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure service continuity, compliance with SLAs and KPIs, and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure, Obsolescence & Resilience
- Maintain and secure IT and network architecture at site level and propose improvements.
- Manage and anticipate obsolescence for critical infrastructure and applications.
- Coordinate end-user experience with onsite support, helpdesk, and vendors.
- Support IT resilience activities, including Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Schneider Digital rules, cybersecurity standards, and governance.
- Support sites during internal and external audits and regulatory compliance activities.
- Promote zero shadow IT and sound application lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Experience in IT Business Partnering, IT management, or similar roles in industrial or supply chain environments.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including site leadership interactions.
- Solid program and project management experience.
- Experience with IT delivery methodologies, including Agile and hybrid models.
- Exposure to people coordination or leadership within matrix organizations., * Good understanding of supply chain operations, factories, and distribution centers.
- Knowledge of IT industry standards, delivery models, and service management.
- Understanding of IT architecture and technology landscapes (applications, infrastructure, integration)., * Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to support transformation.
- Strong business acumen and ability to balance operational needs, risk, cost, and value.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in cross-functional, international teams.
- Pragmatic, structured, and results-oriented mindset., * Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience., * Spanish - fluent (mandatory)
- English - fluent (mandatory)
- Availability and willingness to travel is required, including travel to industrial sites and occasional travel within Europe., (External) English Company Boiler Plate
