Job description
As a Digital Project Manager, you will play a key role in shaping, coordinating and delivering digital initiatives that sit at the intersection of engineering, IT and business transformation. The role requires close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure alignment across multiple integrated systems and workstreams.
- Lead delivery of multiple digital and IT projects within agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
- Develop and maintain project delivery plans aligned with programme priorities and objectives.
- Coordinate project activities, meetings and delivery milestones across multiple workstreams.
- Manage interdependencies across engineering, IT and digital systems to ensure aligned delivery.
- Act as a key interface between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies across project delivery.
- Provide governance oversight and ensure adherence to programme reporting standards.
- Produce clear and concise reporting on progress, risks and performance metrics.
- Support financial tracking and alignment of project delivery with budget expectations.
- Drive clarity and structure in environments with evolving requirements and priorities.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing multiple workstreams within complex infrastructure programmes.
- Experience delivering digital or IT projects within engineering or asset-intensive environments.
- Strong understanding of system integration and digital transformation environments.
- Ability to operate effectively where requirements are evolving or not fully defined.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all organisational levels.
- Confident decision-making ability with strong judgement in complex environments.
- Proficiency in project tools including MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with structured project delivery frameworks and governance processes.
️ Desired Skills
- Experience within nuclear or major infrastructure programmes such as Hinkley Point C.
- Professional project management accreditation such as APM or PRINCE2.
- Experience in engineering change management or IT system integration projects.
- Exposure to digital engineering environments such as BIM or digital twins.
- Commercial awareness within large-scale programme delivery environments.
