Job description
We are seeking a Digital Content Production Manager to lead and continuously improve digital production across our portfolio of mobile, web, and app-based publications in both a strategic and operational capacity.
This role is accountable for the delivery, quality, and performance of all digital outputs. You will design and own workflows, set standards, plan capacity, manage contributors, and act as the escalation point for delivery, quality, and prioritisation., * Own the digital workflow from intake to final delivery across editions, apps, and page-turning formats.
- Ensure delivery excellence-accuracy, quality, deadlines, and prioritisation decisions.
- Define and enforce standards: file specs, naming conventions, QA processes, and supplier requirements.
- Plan and resource effectively: forecast capacity, manage priorities, identify risks, and escalate gaps.
- Lead contributors: set expectations, provide training and feedback, and foster a calm, solutions-focused culture.
- Manage stakeholders: act as the primary contact for editorial, design, sales, commercial teams, and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement: streamline workflows, enhance tools/templates, explore automation, and monitor performance.
- Report clearly: provide visibility on workload, risks, metrics, and resourcing needs.
Requirements
- Experience delivering digital publishing outputs in editorial or production environments.
- Strong knowledge of digital workflows, pipelines, and QA requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to own delivery outcomes and manage risk.
- Advanced: Adobe Creative Cloud skills on Mac.
- Intermediate: HTML newsletters, WordPress, or app publishing platforms.
Benefits & conditions
Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
