IT Java/Oracle Engineer

Work on a high-impact data platform within a leading financial institution, focusing on mortgage systems and critical data flows. As a Java Developer with strong Oracle expertise, you will contribute to building and maintaining a modern datastore in an agile environment, using technologies such as Java, SQL, and Azure DevOps., As a Java Developer, you are responsible for the design, development, and operation of a new datastore supporting mortgage data exchange. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions., * Design and develop backend solutions using Java and Oracle (SQL / PL/SQL)

• Build and maintain data integrations and data quality frameworks
• Support IT Risk & Security controls and contribute to audits
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using monitoring and alerting tools

• 4+ years of experience in Java backend development

• Comfortable working in complex, regulated environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kafka (Streams, Connect, Schema Registry)

• Knowledge of IT Risk & Security within financial services
